Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Simmy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Simmy app and website (the "Service"). We aim to collect only what we need to sell and deliver eSIM data plans and to support you. If you have questions, contact us at support@simmy.uk.

2. Data we collect

We keep data collection deliberately minimal. We collect:

DataWhy we collect it
Email address To create your account, verify it with a one-time sign-in code, and send purchase confirmations and support replies.
Device identifier (a client-generated random ID) To link your installs and orders to a device, prevent abuse, and provide support. This is generated by the app and is not your hardware serial or advertising ID.
Order history (plans purchased, prices, dates, eSIM status) To deliver your eSIM, show your past orders, handle refunds and activation issues, and meet our record-keeping obligations.

We do not collect passwords (sign-in is by email code), and we do not store full payment card numbers — payment details are handled directly by our payment gateway.

3. How we use your data

4. Third-party data processors

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted third parties who process it on our behalf:

These processors are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide support, handle disputes, and meet legal or tax requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@simmy.uk and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and limiting access to data on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone who is not old enough to enter into a contract in their country of residence.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
